1. If you are not at the surgery, where can we find you?
Walking or swimming at our lovely local beaches, working-out [I use the term loosely!] at the gym, spending quality time with my wife Nicole and three children, and travel.
2. What are your hobbies?
Playing golf (though not nearly enough!), learning to play bass guitar and drums, garden maintenance at home
3. What interests you the most about Dentistry?
Finding solutions to complex dental problems, helping people in need or in pain to become comfortable, experiencing the satisfaction of a job well done and seeing how a mouth can be transformed through quality dental treatment
4. What bought you to Esperance?
I moved to Esperance and bought an existing dental practice in 1998, having grown tired of the rat race in Perth. I was born and raised in Narrogin, I always enjoyed life in the country but preferred a coastal lifestyle.
5. What are your qualifications?
I obtained my Bachelor of Dental Science at UWA [Perth] in 1992, and I regularly attend seminars and workshops domestically and overseas to hone my skills and learn new treatment techniques. I have also been an Honorary Clinical Consultant for OHCWA [UWA] Perth Dental School
6. What do you specialise in?
I perform most aspects of dentistry but I tend to specialise in treating adult patients with complex dental problems. This can include extractions including wisdom teeth, managing gum disease, placing white fillings/veneers/crown and bridgework, performing root canal therapy, making dentures, and dental implant prosthetics. A particular interest is rebuilding and replacing worn and missing teeth.
